We are looking for experienced pipeline services labourers to join our team in Acheson, Alberta. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with pipeline maintenance projects, including erosion control, vegetation control, barbed wire fencing, and other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with erosion control measures such as the installation of erosion blankets, silt fences, and other erosion control products
• Assist with vegetation control such as cutting and removing trees, shrubs, and other vegetation
• Assist with the installation and repair of barbed wire fencing
• Spot equipment and trucks for heavy equipment operators to ensure safe and efficient operations
• Perform general labor duties such as digging, shoveling, and carrying materials
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe work environment

Requirements:

• Valid H2S Alive
• Valid Standard First Aid
• Valid Ground Disturbance Level 2
• WHIMIS
• CSTS or PST
• Must pass a drug test

Qualifications:

• 3 years of experience in pipeline maintenance preferred
• Recent R.O.W. (Right of Way) experience is considered an asset
• Ability to operate small equipment and tools
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Shift Details:

• 12 hours per day, 6 days a week

Flexible Language Requirement:

• French not required

• 12 hour shift
• Day shift
• Overtime
• Weekends as needed

• Acheson, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
