Job Description

The Inside Sales Specialist is responsible for handling incoming sales inquiries, specification review, and quotations while maintaining Rotork systems and procedures throughout the process.

While delivering quality and building relationships with the aim to create loyalty with the customers, this will provide the result in increased revenue and company profitability.

Reporting to the Inside Sales Supervisor, this role will require a technical education together with a strong commitment to top-quality customer service and previous valve automation experience to be successful in this opportunity.

Qualifications

Experience Requirements:

  • Experience of 5 years in valve automation sales support.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to maintain a “customer first” approach.
  • Applicable engineering degree or advanced technical diploma; some familiarity with electrical systems is preferred.
  • Knowledge of and experience with the use of Microsoft Office®.

A Successful Candidate:

  • Interest in and willingness to learn Rotork's business and build a career in Sales.
  • Work with the sales team to gather customer information required in order to complete a contract.
  • Exhibit tact and strong diplomatic skills when dealing with all staff, customers and suppliers.
  • High level of self-motivation, independence and self-reliance.
  • Use a professional selling approach with clear objectives and techniques designed to meet Rotork's corporate objectives.
