One of our client in Newmarket, ON is looking for a Process Engineer for their manufacturing facility.

Shift - Afternoon.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Ensure the accuracy of manufacturing bills of materials for all products.
• Participate in the engineering change process by designing and updating Process Failure Mode Effects Analyses as needed.
• Review all operator instructions and ensure the readiness of assembly equipment, packaging requirements, and completion of all manufacturing engineering tasks.
• Maintain a daily presence on the production floor, providing engineering support to assembly in areas such as ergonomic evaluations, methods improvement, procurement and fabrication of equipment, and safety.
• Research, investigate, and report on manufacturing concerns to improve overall plant productivity, including reducing process costs and implementing corrective actions to minimize downtimes and rejects.

• Completion of a college diploma or university degree in an engineering discipline, preferably mechanical engineering.
• Minimum of five years of experience in a related field or discipline.
• Good knowledge of manufacturing processes and systems.
• Strong technical report writing abilities.
• Previous experience with welding/programming is required.
