Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Tooling Supervisor to join our dynamic team. The Tooling Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the development, validation, and implementation of tooling and equipment necessary for the production of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). This role requires a strong technical background, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Identify, communicate, and track all program targets related to quality, cost, and timing.
  • Ensure that all targets are met and status updates are communicated per program requirements.
  • Manage the program's development status with the extended team, gathering information from supporting teams.
  • Plan and present program status slides, ensuring all activities are coordinated according to the function development process.
  • Report on program status at each milestone and verify/manage planning timelines for project development.
  • Develop and execute test plans and procedures in both virtual environments and on vehicles (HIL, SIL, VIL, etc.).
  • Validate ADAS functions and performance to ensure successful production launches.
  • Manage all development activities from program approval to Job1 and beyond, including product lifecycle actions.
  • Assure the accomplishment of project milestones and compliance with gate reviews according to the Product & Process Development Plan.
  • Coordinate and assist during all development phases, ensuring program readiness through KPI reporting.
  • Lead, instruct, direct, assign, and check the work of team members.
  • Build credibility, establish rapport, and maintain communication at all levels to ensure resource sharing and program success.
  • Ensure continuous alignment of scope with strategic business objectives, making recommendations to enhance program effectiveness.
  • Identify and implement cost/investment recovery actions as necessary.
  • Lead viability investigations on product/engine grid modification initiatives via the corporate bulletin system.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent from an ABET accredited university.
  • Project Management experience.
  • Experienced in component/system design, software development, integration, and testing.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle and best practices, methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Good understanding of electronics (hardware and software).
  • Knowledge of Automotive SPICE, CMMI, ISO/IEC 33000 (ASPICE preferred).
  • Software architecture design, programming experience, and knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
  • Familiarity with software integration and testing environments such as SIL, MIL, HIL, and test automation tools.
  • Strong leadership behaviors, high accountability attitude, and strong communication skills.
  • Ability to lead by example, coach, and mentor team members.
  • Well-organized, able to understand technically complex problems, and capable of focusing the team on problem-solving and establishing priorities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Ability to communicate in French, Italian, or Portuguese is a plus.
  • High level of proficiency in English (speaking, reading, writing).

Additional Information

* This position requires working onsite for 5 days a week, 8 hours per day during normal working hours.
