Solid Solutions Canada is a recruiting agency providing confidential employment searches to the plumbing and heating industries across Canada and the US. We concentrate our services on the supply side of the industry dealing with manufacturers, wholesalers, and sales agencies.

Remote Position:

Regional Sales Manager - Eastern Ontario

Reporting to the Director of Sales, Eastern Canada, this position will require travel in excess of 50% of the time to acquire new business while developing and growing existing customers.

This person will be responsible for leading product training to the customer base in their territory. This position relies on your broad experiences to accomplish sales goals and demonstrate the ability to convert prospects to achieve sales targets. The Regional Sales Manager will need to collaborate with other team members in order to deliver exceptional customer service.

Some specific tasks this role includes but not limited to:

  • Build and support relationships with key customers, business partners and industry associations to provide winning value and optimize go-to market strategies and priorities
  • Responsible for implementing an effective account management strategy geared towards exceeding growth expectations, improving customer service, and strengthening the brand.
  • Develop new customers
  • Develop current customers
  • Valid Drivers license
  • Experience with CRM specifically Salesforce
  • Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as biweekly sales and strategy meetings, monthly sales meetings and annual territory analyses and forecasting.
  • Perform product orientations, training and promotions throughout the territory.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge through continuing education
  • Achieve sales targets as established by the organization.
  • Being technically proficient and mechanically inclined
