Job Description

Because of demand and growth within the Application team we are looking for a talented and experienced Application Technical Implementation and Support Specialist.

As a successful candidate you will be responsible for technical implementations of various applications within the Private Equity and Real Estate domain. You will be supporting and managing the delivery of internal operations and support and in doing so you will work with vendors and be part of an internal team managing a portfolio of in-house/vendor applications such as Investran, Anaplan, Sentry, Sungard DX within the Private Equity and Real Estate domain. You will play a crucial role in developing and building our platforms.
You Will:

• Play a key role as part of global support team covering Private Market Applications and core applications domain.
• Work on developing Investran, implementing new upgrades and provide integration with upstream and downstream systems, as well as working with vendors & /or Internal support teams to resolve technical and user issues during product migration and BAU operations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex Investran application and SQL issues.
• Document processes, procedures and policies as required for appropriate governance of platforms.
• Day-to-day monitoring of our internal processes to ensure pro-active resolution of any issues that arise.
• Document business user procedures and support user training.
• Participate in co-ordination and implementation of new platform releases with business users.
• Support Project Managers in ongoing initiatives related to the Business Core Operations Solutions.
• Development and enhancement of the platforms to increase automation and expand the utilization of features.
• Internal co-ordination between distinct internal IT functions and groups to ensure high quality service delivery and total ownership of issues to complete resolution.
• Support the business in Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery initiatives.

Qualifications

You Have:

• 6+ years in a team responsible for providing technical, implementation support and administration of business applications.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent experience
• The ability to install and configure the vendor application (Investran and other applications) in a 3-tier architecture.
• Experience building and supporting IT Private Equity applications such as Investran, Anaplan, Sentry and in-house financial applications.
• Knowledge of financial applications, systems or application architecture/platforms
• Experience of Application/Database infrastructure setup and management
• Experience supporting applications within desktop environments, windows servers and AWS.

Preferred

• Experienced technician in Microsoft Windows Server environments, Linux, Java applications, Microsoft IIS, SQL Server, SSRS and AWS.
• Knowledge of System Development Lifecycle and standard software development methodologies including ITIL standards (certification will be a plus).
• Strong Investran and SQL knowledge, including experience with script writing and automation.
• SQL Server Reporting Services development experience will be an advantage.
• Experience in technical writing/documentation skills.
