S3 Group Ltd. is currently recruiting for a Payroll and Benefits Coordinator to join our team at our offices in Swift Current, SK. This is a full-time position starting immediately.

Reporting to Senior Human Resources Manager, the ideal candidate should have a well-rounded background in payroll, benefits and HR as well as strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills. The Payroll, Benefits Coordinator manages all aspects of the company's bi-weekly payroll, administers the employee benefit program, and prepares annual T4 and WCB filings. Duties (include but are not limited to):
- Manage timekeeping systems for the purposes of payroll and costing
- Process bi-weekly payroll for Canadian entities, including appropriate remittances and reconciliations
- Prepare annual T4s and WCB filings
- Administer employee benefit programs
- Manage absence tracking system
- Prepare monthly payroll metrics reports for management and monthly reconciliations of all payrolls related accounts
- Manage some HR documents and personnel files
- Perform other tasks as assigned
- Ensure quality, as outlined in our Quality Manual, is inherent in all tasks performed
Experience & Qualifications
- Minimum 4+ years' experience in business
- Preference given to candidates with Certified Payroll Manager (CPM) and Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) designations
- Commitment and ability to manage multiple project deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and oral communication skills; comfortable with public speaking
- High level proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel & Word
- Positive and co-operative team player and capable of working with minimal supervision
- Proven confidentiality
