Currently, we're seeking a Finisher who will be key to ensuring our products are perfect for our clients.

Who You Are:

• Experienced: You have proven skills in finishing wood products, using techniques like staining, sealing, and lacquering. You're familiar with various tools and materials and can handle them expertly.
• Detail-Oriented: Your attention to detail ensures every finish meets the high standards our clients expect.
• Physically Fit: You're prepared for tasks that require endurance like sanding, lifting, and standing for long periods.
• Skilled in Color Matching: You have a sharp eye for colors and can mix and match stains to get the perfect finish.
• Problem Solver: You can identify and solve issues with materials or techniques, adapting to different project needs.
• Team Player: Excellent communication skills help you collaborate effectively, contributing to a positive work environment.
• Reliable: You manage your time well, ensuring projects are completed efficiently without compromising quality.

Your Role:

• Preparation: Sand and prepare wood, MDF, and millwork components for finishing. Read and interpret drawings and specifications.
• Finishing: Apply stain, paint, or lacquer, either manually or by spraying. Strip, sand, stain, and refinish wood furniture or millwork.
• Quality Assurance: Inspect materials for defects and ensure finished products meet quality standards.
• Maintenance: Keep the spray booth and paint equipment clean and orderly.
• Health and Safety: Promote and maintain a safe work environment.

Requirements:

• 2-3 years of relevant experience in a commercial millwork setting.
• High school diploma; further technical education is a plus.
• Strong skills in preparation, finishing, and touch-up.
• Familiarity with different finishing products and wood species.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
