What You Will Do:
- Process Optimization: Continuously refine and enhance IT processes to maximize efficiency and effectiveness, ensuring smooth and streamlined operations.
- Automation: Lead the charge in automating recurring tasks and processes, reducing manual effort and increasing productivity.
- Network Management: Oversee and maintain the performance and security of office IT networks, with Unifi Network experience being a significant plus.
- Support Escalation: Handle complex IT issues by resolving tickets escalated from Level 1 and Level 2 support, ensuring timely and effective solutions.
- Tool Management: Manage and maintain a suite of internal and cloud-based tools, including Microsoft365, InTune, Entra, Mosyle, and NinjaRMM, to support the organization's technological needs.
- Endpoint Security: Implement and uphold best practices for endpoint security solutions, safeguarding the organization's digital assets.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to address IT infrastructure needs, ensuring seamless integration and support.
- Mentorship: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior IT staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
- Compliance: Ensure all IT activities comply with company policies and procedures, maintaining high standards of operation.
- Professional Development: Stay in-tune with the latest trends and best practices in IT infrastructure and operations, continuously enhancing your skills.
- Cross-Team Engagement: Collaborate with and learn from the DevOps and Networking teams within the Infrastructure & Operations department, enhancing your expertise and broadening your knowledge base.
- System Integration: Utilize your expertise with systems such as ServiceNow to streamline and improve IT service management processes.
What You Will Need:
- Experience: A minimum of 3-4 years in a senior technical role within a corporate IT environment.
- Education: A+ certification or a diploma in Computer Engineering is preferred; a degree is not required.
- Technical Skills:
- Extensive experience in managing and optimizing IT networks, with Unifi Network experience being a significant plus.
- Proficiency in managing internal and cloud-based tools such as Microsoft365, InTune, Entra, Mosyle, and NinjaRMM.
- Strong proficiency in PowerShell is a must; additional coding languages are a plus but not required.
- Hands-on experience with Network Policy Server (NPS) is a must.
- Security Knowledge: Deep understanding and experience with endpoint security solutions and best practices. SOC2 knowledge and experience is a plus.
- Problem-Solving: Exceptional problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to IT challenges.
- Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
- Teamwork: Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and a collaborative spirit.
- Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Continuous Learning: A commitment to continuous learning and staying current with emerging IT trends and technologies.
- Service Management: Strong understanding of ITIL Service Management principles; ITIL 4 Foundation Certification in IT Service Management is desired.
