Your Role:
Hypercharge is looking for an Intermediate Electrical Engineer to support the Professional Services Team. The position will be primarily responsible for writing EV Ready Plans and Electrical Planning Reports. However additional responsibilities would involve troubleshooting and field support to our EV chargers, validating new products and solutions, and development of new EV charging solutions.
Key skills that will enable success in this role include experience with field work; strong collaboration skills to work effectively across teams; and proficiency in maintaining high standards under tight deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Site reviews
- Writing EV Ready Plans and Electrical Planning Reports
- Support troubleshooting questions from Customer Service
- Installing and testing equipment in our lab
- Research of new technologies and solutions
- Validating new products
- Collaborate with the other departments at Hypercharge
Required Qualifications:
- Completion of Electrical Engineering degree program
- Good communication (written and spoken)
- Good attitude
Bonus Qualifications:
- Registration with EGBC as an EIT
- Hands-on and comfortable working with tools
- Experience with 208V/480/600 Volt equipment testing
- Automotive/EV industry interest or experience
Location: Varies, with head office in North Vancouver, BC
Compensation:
- Annual salary range: $60,000 - $80,000 CAD.
