Job DescriptionAssess and treat musculoskeletal injuries including WSIB, MVA, and extended health. Utilize excellent assessment and treatment skills in geriatrics, neurology and orthopaedics with goal-oriented treatment plans and discharge management. Participate in promotional activities, community education, program development and Accreditation standards.

- B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Physiotherapy from a recognized institution required
- Current Registration and in good standing, with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario required (with evidence of insurance coverage)
- Experience working in an outpatient setting is an asset
- Ability to motivate, be empathetic and client-centered in all interactions with patients
- Have a thorough understanding of confidentiality and patient dignity
- Initiative, good problem solving and excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary
- Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to interact effectively with an interprofessional team
- Must be flexible and show an ability to work independently and/or collaboratively with all team members
- Strong organizational abilities with efficient time management skills
- Satisfactory employment and attendance record required
The ideal candidate has a strong patient centred care approach, thrives in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment and should be ready to drive change and innovation.
