We are excited to grow our team with a full-time role for a ERP Consultant D365 BC.

Position Summary:

Reporting to the Professional Services Lead, the ERP Consultant plays a key role in delivering high-value services to customers, ensuring successful implementation and optimal use of Binary Stream products, particularly within the D365 Business Central (BC) environment. This position is instrumental in driving revenue growth and maintaining exceptional levels of customer satisfaction.

As an ERP Consultant, you will collaborate closely with the Professional Services Lead to strategize, prioritize, and plan service delivery activities. This includes managing client relationships, executing project plans, and providing third-line customer support when necessary. Your role will involve regular communication and collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure alignment and the successful delivery of services.

In addition to your primary responsibilities, you will occasionally coach and mentor junior or less experienced staff, sharing your expertise and promoting best practices in service delivery. The role also requires occasional travel to customer sites to facilitate hands-on service delivery and support.

As an ERP Consultant, you will be responsible for:

Customer Engagement and Service Delivery

  • Plan and deliver implementation of Binary Stream ISV products in accordance with Binary Stream best practices, maintaining communication with stakeholders and managing expectations throughout the engagement.
  • Conduct requirements gathering to accurately determine customer needs and perform fit/gap analysis to ensure product features align with customer requirements.
  • Monitor at-risk projects, escalating issues appropriately to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Maintain communication with the customer, solving simple concerns, troubleshooting, scheduling, and driving meetings as required.
  • Keep clients engaged and manage client expectations throughout the project lifecycle.

Internal Collaboration and Team Support

  • Collaborate with the Sales team, enhancing their capacity to identify and promote service opportunities that drive revenue growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and maintain productive relationships with key Binary Stream partners, fostering collaboration focused on delivering value to the end customer.
  • Provide guidance and coaching to other staff members involved in service delivery activities, ensuring consistency and quality in implementations.
  • Attend sprint reviews and review new features and fixes, providing design feedback and recommendations as a subject matter expert.

Service Development and Continuous Improvement

  • Participate in the development of service offerings, including creating training materials, developing delivery plans, and drafting Statements of Work (SOW).
  • Lead standard product training on core functionality, adapting to client business scenarios, and designing training agendas and documentation.
  • Demonstrate new features, ensuring they align with client needs and provide added value.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by applying lessons learned to enhance best practices and proactively sharing knowledge with the team.

Technical Support and Project Management

  • Provide third-level support as needed, particularly for customers facing challenges during ERP implementation.
  • Manage project administration, including project planning, scheduling, kickoffs, and closing, while providing regular project status updates.
  • Oversee change requests and contribute to additional business needs as necessary, ensuring they align with the project's scope and objectives.

Presales and Budgeting

  • Support presales activities, including preparing Time & Material (T&M) budgets and securing necessary approvals.

Technical Skills:

  • Advanced working knowledge of financial ERP software, particularly Microsoft Dynamics 365 BC, NAV, or GP.
  • Advanced working knowledge of MS-Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
  • Knowledge of working with SQL Scripts, Queries or SSRS Reporting is an Asset
  • PowerBI knowledge is an asset

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field, and/or a financial accreditation such as CPA.
  • Full cycle Microsoft Dynamics 365 BC or NAV or GP implementation experience coupled with a strong understanding of ERP applications.
  • 2-5 years of Dynamics 365 BC or NAV or GP consulting and external product implementation experience.
  • Experience working within the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) is an asset
  • Project management/Sure Step experience is a strong asset.
  • Knowledge of BSSI Products like Multi-Entity Managment is a strong asset,

Compensation and Benefits Package:

At Binary Stream, we know compensation is important to our people. To stay competitive with our pay and benefits, annually we collect and analyze industry benchmarking data from the technology sector across Canada. This data is used to regularly update our salary ranges.

Hiring range for new employees: 99,400 CAD - 124,200 CAD

Pay Range Insights: This range signifies the minimum and maximum for a new hire in this role. The pay we offer a successful candidate will be determined by factors including the candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities and experience. In exceptional cases, the compensation we offer may fall outside this range.
