You will
- Perform full cycle accounting on a project by project basis
- Monitor, review, and reconcile: budgets and construction loan draw requests
- Prepare monthly bank and loan reconciliations
- Prepare financial statements and ensure compliance with accounting standards and procedures for multiple project entities
- Prepare and analyze working papers for project entities
- Ensure that financial information provided is timely and relevant for effective decision making
- Ongoing monitoring of project financing requirements, partner contributions/distributions, and all other aspects of cash flow management
- Update and review the Calgary land development proformas to ensure they accurately reflect the current team vision
- Work closely with the project teams to gain a thorough understanding of the projects, and an awareness of potential risk items that could impact project budgets or cashflows
You are
- Accurate, detail-oriented and very organized
- A roll up your sleeves attitude, with the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
- An independent worker with a proactive approach
You have
- A Professional Accounting Designation and/or 5+years of experience in a similar role
- Advanced Excel skills and strong working knowledge of Yardi
- Proven ability to work with multiple projects
- Real Estate industry experience (preferred)
- Excellent communication and people skills
