Job Description: Fall Shutdown Season - Industrial Labourer
Position: Vacuum Support Labourer - High-Pressure Cleaning & Vessel Entry Tank Cleaning
Location: Edmonton, Grand Prairie, Peace River, and Northeastern British Columbia
Project Duration: Mid-August to End of September (Approximately 3 weeks to 4 weeks per project)
Shift Details:
- 12-hour days
- Overtime paid after 8 hours per day or 44 hours per week
Compensation:
- $26.50 to $30 per hour depending on the project
- Competitive hourly wage
- Overtime pay
- Camp or hotel accommodations provided
- Subsistence allowance included
- Travel provided from Edmonton or Grand Prairie
Key Responsibilities:
- Support vacuum truck operations for high-pressure cleaning of tanks and vessels
- Ensure safe and efficient entry and cleaning of vessels
- Maintain equipment and perform regular inspections
- Follow safety protocols and procedures at all times
- Collaborate with team members to achieve project goals
Requirements:
- Previous experience operating vacuum trucks and performing high-pressure cleaning
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and procedures for vessel entry and tank cleaning
- Ability to work long hours and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver's license
- Willingness to travel and stay in camp or hotel accommodations for the duration of the project
