En raison de notre forte croissance, nous ajoutons à notre équipe de professionnels un responsable de l'assistance aux opérations en eau salée.

Le responsable du soutien aux opérations en eau salée (SW) rendra compte directement au directeur des opérations en eau salée et travaillera directement avec les directeurs de production régionaux pour développer les plans opérationnels d'élevage en mer, y compris :

The Role

• Leading both long-term and weekly sea-lice treatment planning sessions and communicating resource requirements as necessary.

• Operational and resource requirement planning to execute flawlessly in the areas of in situ net-washing, site preparation (grids, cages, net installations, changes, and removals, and smolt delivery.

• Supporting both long-term and short-term capital project planning and project management oversight.

The SW Operations Support Manager has the overall responsibility to develop and communicate operational plans. The manager will facilitate meetings with appropriate personnel to gather relevant information develop strong communication and instill ownership of the plans/goals. The SW Operations Support Manager will be expected to evaluate the performance of operational plans and be able to make recommendations and adjust plans continually (with the highest emphasis on sea lice treatment planning.

Although primarily based in the Blacks Harbour office, some travel to different regions in Atlantic Canada will be required.

Competencies

Thorough knowledge of marine salmon farming

• Ability to supervise and lead teams.

• Knowledge of fish health and disease issues

• Ability to provide written reports.

• Effective written and verbal communication skills

• Knowledge of spreadsheet programs and email

• Ability to analyze production data,

• Ability to analyze problems and make appropriate recommendations.
