Building Cleaner

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Scheduled building and floor maintenance.
- Sweep, mop, auto-scrub & polish floors.
- Light duty cleaning in areas such as open desks, meeting rooms, and boardrooms.
- Vacuum carpet
- Clean & disinfect bathrooms.
- Stock supply areas.
- Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
- Clean and disinfect public areas such as reception areas, lunchrooms, stairwells, elevators, meeting rooms, and showers.
- Pick up debris and empty trash, organics, recyclables, and cardboard.
- Wash interior windows, walls, baseboards, frames, and partitions.
- Remove gum and scrape stickers and other build-ups throughout the facility.
- Report lost and found items.
- Report any complaints from clients.
- Provide general feedback about the site.
- Inventory management and requesting chemicals/supplies.
- Adhere to safety measures, and report deficiencies or infractions.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of team processes and nightly expectations.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Requirements:**

- Experience is an asset; on-the-job training provided.
- Ability to work with little to no supervision.
- Reliable transportation (bus or own vehicle).
- Ability to provide a criminal record check.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Initiative, judgment, multi-tasking ability, goal-oriented.
- Strong leadership and people skills.
- No formal education required.
