THE ROLE
As a Production Supervisor, you will be providing leadership, coordination, and supervision to the production team. You will be working for a growing and innovative manufacturing company in Smithville ON. This is a great permanent opportunity for someone who enjoys working for a modern and progressive manufacturing plant. This position is straight afternoons.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Run the day-to-day activities on the manufacturing floor for safe and smooth manufacturing flow
- Assign work to the production team and forklift operators
- Monitor and track employee punctuality and attendance and address non-compliance
- ensure team leads and machine operators are following safe work practices and SOP
- Train and cross-train production operators
- Communicate and workplace hazards to employees, escalate to have safety hazards addressed
- Monitor and report production KPIs, remove obstacles, and address issues as needed
REQUIREMENTS:
- 2-3 years of supervisor experience in production manufacturing
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Excellent time management, planning, and organizational skills
