KDP continues to meet our client's full safety and service needs by offering the installation and repair of Lubecore International Inc.'s auto greasing systems. As our Installation Technician – Automated Lubrication Systems you would be responsible for (but not limited to) a wide variety of duties such as, installations, specifications, and servicing of Lubecore automated lubrication systems. Some of the additional expectations of this role include:

  • Installation of lubrication pump(s) and timing device(s).
  • Connection of power and ignition sources on the equipment.
  • Wiring in smart switches and sensors.
  • Installation of grease delivery tubing to the lubrication points.
  • Installation of injector manifolds and/ or lubrication dividers, connecting to the pump.
  • Light welding and use of oxy-acetylene torches on equipment.
  • Troubleshooting systems on mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic equipment to determine deficiencies and potential solutions;
  • Provision of regular system operation training on automated systems.
  • Assist in performing analysis on all projects by visiting the location(s).
  • Completion of daily reports of completed work orders and activities;
  • Ensuring safe work practices are followed safety leadership is demonstrated in all aspects of the job.

  • A strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Their own basic set of hand and power tools.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical wiring.

They must also possess the following experience and/or education:

NOTE: All combinations of education in a related and experience will be considered.

  • Minimum 2 years of mechanical experience using power and hand tools.
  • Experience in a mechanical, automotive, or other service delivery environment would be considered an asset.
  • Training related to Automotive, Truck/Coach or Heavy Equipment would be considered an asset.

NOTE: Candidates who advance through the hiring process will be required to submit a current Certificate of Conduct and Driver's abstract.
