West Fraser offers a range of exciting career opportunities for individuals seeking challenging and rewarding careers. North Central Woodlands Division, located near Slave Lake and High Prairie, is currently recruiting for an Operations Supervisor.

The operations supervisor will report to the Operations Superintendent and be part of a team responsible for all aspects of forest operations.

You'll Do:

  • Supervise harvesting, road construction, hauling and related operations.
  • Ensure that production, quality, environmental and legal requirements are met safely and cost-effectively.
  • Contract management, contractor supervision, liaison with government officials and coordination with planning and silviculture.

You have:

  • Possess a Registered Professional Forester (RPF) or Registered Professional Forester Tech (RPFT) designation for Alberta (or be eligible and willing to earn this designation).
  • 2-4 years of relevant forest operations experience.
  • Be a dynamic, career-minded individual.
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Be highly motivated with proven organizational skills.

Compensation Package:

  • The salary range for this position may vary depending on experience, education, and location.
