POSITION SUMMARY:
Our company is looking for an experienced Barber, this position is perfect for someone who wants to not only evolve as a barber but also to learn and practice in one of the best places in the city of Toronto, Canada.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Suggest hair style compatible with client's physical features or determine style from client's instructions and preferences.
- Ensuring that combs, scissors, razors, and other instruments are cleaned and sanitized.
- Cutting and trimming hair according to clients' instructions.
- Styling hair using chemical solutions and styling tools.
- Shaving, trimming, and shaping clients beards and mustaches.
- Washing and conditioning clients hair.
- Providing hair treatments and coloring.
- Perform administrative duties and order supplies.
- Oversee and manage the barbers schedules.
- Help barbers reach their set goals.
- Train or supervise other barbers, hairstylists, hairstylist apprentices and helpers.
- Supervising apprentices and trainees.
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Education: Completion of high school, some college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training or equivalent experience in the field.
- Experience: 1 year of work experience as a Barber.
- Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English
