As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing business needs, identifying solutions, and ensuring that our software meets the demands of our clients.

Job Type: Full-time - Salary
The position will be at our office in Victoria, BC.
Key Responsibilities:
Requirements Gathering and Analysis
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their business needs and gather detailed requirements.
- Conduct interviews, workshops, and surveys to gather user requirements and document business processes.
- Analyze and document functional and non-functional requirements.
Solution Design and Documentation
- Develop detailed business and functional specifications.
- Create process flow diagrams, use cases, and user stories.
- Work with the development team to design solutions that meet business requirements.
Project Management Support
- Assist in project planning, scheduling, and tracking.
- Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and are completed on time.
- Facilitate communication between business stakeholders and the development team.
Testing and Quality Assurance
- Develop test plans and test cases based on business requirements.
- Coordinate and perform user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Identify and document defects and work with the development team to resolve them.
Training and Support
- Develop training materials and conduct training sessions for end-users.
- Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for users post-implementation.
- Gather feedback and propose enhancements to improve the software.
Successful candidates will have the following qualifications:
Must-Haves:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in a SaaS environment.
- Proficiency in business analysis techniques and tools, such as SWOT analysis, BPMN, and UML.
- Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in using business analysis software (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Lucidchart, Visio) and MS Office Suite.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Certification in Business Analysis (CBAP, PMI-PBA, or equivalent).
- Experience with land management software or GIS systems.
- Understanding of database management and SQL.
