The Opportunity

We're seeking a seasoned Sales Leader, a Business Development Sales Manager, to join our leadership team. You'll play a pivotal role in crafting and executing strategic sales plans that drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and significant revenue growth.

You'll be responsible for:

  • Spearheading Strategic Sales: Develop, implement, and refine sales plans to attract new customers, retain existing ones, and achieve ambitious sales goals.
  • Leading the Sales Charge: Mentor, coach, and empower your sales team to become high achievers, consistently exceeding individual and team targets.
  • Identifying New Horizons: Actively seek out new market opportunities, products, and partnerships that align with KGI's strategic objectives. Collaborate with the leadership team to evaluate these opportunities.
  • Building Strong Relationships: Cultivate and manage relationships with key accounts, fostering loyalty and driving up revenue.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Track, analyze, and report on sales performance, using insights to optimize strategies for continued success
  • Budget Management: Own and manage the Sales budget(s), ensuring efficient and effective allocation of resources.
  • Brand Champion: Ensure consistent and impactful brand messaging across all sales communications.
  • Continuous Improvement: Analyze sales campaigns, glean valuable insights, and adapt strategies for maximum effectiveness.
  • Industry Visibility: Represent us at industry events and tradeshows to boost brand awareness and generate qualified leads.
  • Marketing Alignment: Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure seamless alignment between sales and marketing efforts.

Who You Are

  • A seasoned sales leader with a minimum of 5 years of proven success in exceeding sales targets.
  • A track record of building and managing high-performing sales teams.
  • A strategic thinker with a keen understanding of project management and organizational skills.
  • An experienced leader with a strong motivational presence and exceptional communication skills.
  • A self-motivated and results-oriented individual with a passion for continuous learning and innovation.
  • Adept in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Working knowledge of CRM systems (Pipedrive) a plus.
  • Willingness to travel up to 40%.

  • Heavy Duty Transportation Trailer Axle Manufacturing experience.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit that aligns with our "Get it done" culture.
  • Experience with the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) a plus.
