We are currently looking for a Total Rewards Administrator at our Central Office East.

Job Summary

Reporting to the Vice President, Human Resources. The incumbent will develop and deliver efficient administration and reporting of the company's compensation program, rewards programs, manager and employee communications and health and safety practices.

Accountabilities

This role is accountable for:

  • Partner with external vendors in Canada and the U.S to benchmark jobs and report findings. This will include using established job codes to update prior year results, updating compensation reports for senior management, developing communication materials, and overseeing the communication roll out of wage grids and ranges.
  • As part of the administration of the company's compensation program, align incumbents to new jobs and wages; deliver reporting and manage salary/wage increases of pay ranges and wage grids
  • Review new hire salaries prior to offer and approve where salary/wage is within the established pay ranges and pay grids. Where salary/wage is not aligned to pay ranges and pay grids, work with the hiring manager to adjust the salary/wage on the offer letter to ensure pay equity practices.
  • On an ongoing basis, match new jobs to external benchmarks and align with the company's established salary ranges/wage grids.
  • Develop, communicate and administer employee perks programs.
  • Ensure the company health and safety standards are followed and annual policy requirements are met. Support sports complexes with complicated health and safety audits.
  • Develop and release manager and employee communication bulletins
Abilities, Attributes and Experience
  • 1-2 years of experience in total rewards, compensation and benefits, or a human resources generalist role with experience in compensation and benefits administration
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
  • Ability to influence others through the explanation of facts, policies, and practices
  • Ability to work independently with general supervision
