Summary:
Seeking Restoration Cleaning Supervisor to work in the Guelph area. Position is fulltime permanent position. In this position you will lead, motivate, and support a Production/Restoration team to ensure customer satisfaction and staff development. Must be able to communicate and work in English language. Rate of pay for this position $24-$26.00 per hour. Health and dental benefits available.
Primary Duties:
Provide supervision of operational activities. This includes oversight and training of all staff, sub trades and vendors.
Maintain job costing records on all files, material used, inventory and equipment.
Monitor job site drying strategies, moisture mapping and taken required readings using thermohydrometers and moisture meters.
Measure, document and scope jobs site that have been affected by Fire, Water, Wind, Vandalism etc.
Prepare daily work orders for staff, weekly/month schedules.
Maintain constant communication with management, staff, and vendors.
Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols to ensure a positive customer and client experience. Meeting with the customers regularly to ensure satisfaction. Review and implement systems, software, and score cards to improve customer satisfaction.
Manage staff development of the Production/Restoration division. Servpro training on fire, water, odour, reconstruction, and etiquette. Using exclusive training software provided by Servpro.
Work closely with the General Manager and Owner to ensure operations remain compliant with legal and regulatory requirements.
Develop, implement, and oversee protocols to maintain facility, vehicles, equipment, consumables, and compliance.
Job file audit to be prepared and reviewed weekly.
Analyze the efficiency of existing team processes and procedures to enhance and sustain service standards.
Communicate with insurance adjusters, brokers, property managers and commercial clients providing job updates, cause of loss, quantity of damages and time.
Education and Experience Requirements:
Business admin or Business management diploma.
IICRC certification in Water and Fire.
Minimum 1 year experience using industry related software (Xactimate, XactAnalysis, Encircle, Matterport, Drybook)
Minimum 2 years Water and Fire restoration experience.
Minimum 3 years of experience in business and/or management operations.
Knowledge of industry equipment, drying techniques and moisture reading devices.
Aerial lift and aerial work platform Certification.
Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
Physical and Work Environment Requirements:
This position routinely works in an office environment; however, field visits and field management will require jobsite activities. Occasional jobsite activities may involve walking and standing for long periods of time, driving, sitting, climbing ladders, utilizing scaffolding or lifts, pushing/pulling/lifting/carrying objects, working around chemicals, and working overhead.
Normal Working Hours, Additional Working Hours, and Travel Requirements:
This is a full-time position working 7:00 a.m. 5:00 p.m., Monday Friday, 45 hours per week. This position frequently requires long hours (beyond 8 hours a day), including evenings and weekends, as needed. Travel is required and is primarily local. However, some out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected.
