We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused individual to join our sales team as an Order Entry/Sales Representative. This role is essential in ensuring accurate order processing while also driving sales growth and maintaining strong customer relationships. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities:
- Order Processing: Enter customer orders into the system accurately and efficiently, ensuring all details are correct and orders are processed in a timely manner.
- Sales Generation: Proactively identify sales opportunities and follow up on leads to convert them into orders, meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers by providing exceptional service, addressing inquiries, and resolving issues promptly.
- Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of our products and services to effectively communicate features, benefits, and value propositions to customers.
- Quoting: Prepare and deliver accurate price quotes to customers based on their requirements and pricing guidelines.
- Sales Support: Collaborate with the sales team to provide support in preparing sales presentations, conducting product demonstrations, and participating in sales meetings.
- Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for sales growth and differentiation.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, sales activities, and order status in the CRM system.
- Feedback Loop: Gather customer feedback and insights to relay to the sales and product development teams for continuous improvement.
- Adherence to Policies: Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and guidelines related to sales, pricing, and order processing.
- Proven experience in sales, customer service, or order entry roles.
- Strong sales acumen with a track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers.
- Proficiency in computer applications, including MS Office and CRM software.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Prior experience in the manufacturing, distribution, or retail industry is a plus.
