Key Responsibilities

As a Concrete Finisher, your expertise will be essential in various settings, including:

• Rural areas
• Commercial projects
• Prefab/shop fabrication
• Residential constructions
• Sidewalks and curbs

Your tasks will include:

• Checking formwork, granular base, and steel reinforcement materials
• Directing the placement of concrete into forms or onto surfaces according to grade
• Operating power vibrators to compact concrete
• Leveling top surface concrete according to grade and depth specifications
• Imparting desired finishes to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools
• Instructing apprentices
• Installing anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills, and other fixtures
• Applying hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces
• Waterproofing, damp proofing, and restoring surfaces
• Repairing, resurfacing, and replacing worn or damaged sections of concrete structures
• Reading and interpreting blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications
