In this pivotal role, you will oversee a variety of administrative functions, ensuring that our office runs smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and evaluate new administrative procedures.
  • Establish work priorities and ensure procedures are followed and deadlines are met.
  • Coordinate and plan for office services such as accommodation, relocation, equipment, supplies, and maintenance.
  • Assist in the preparation of operating budgets and maintain inventory and budgetary controls.
  • Assemble data and prepare periodic and special reports, manuals, and correspondence.
  • Perform data entry and clerical duties, including maintaining filing systems.
  • Train and supervise staff, overseeing payroll administration and managing accounts payable and receivable.
  • Prepare bank reconciliations and keep financial records using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
  • Resolve conflict situations and ensure a positive work environment.

Supervision

You will be responsible for supervising a team of 11-15 people, fostering a collaborative and efficient workplace.

Qualifications

  • Education: College/CEGEP
  • Experience: 2 to 3 years in a similar role, with a focus on accounting technology/technician and bookkeeping.
  • Proficient in QuickBooks, accounting software, and MS Office.
  • Own transportation and a valid driver's license are required.
