Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise the activities of specialist chefs, cooks, and other kitchen workers.

  • Instruct cooks in the preparation, cooking, garnishing, and presentation of food.
  • Prepare and cook complete meals and specialty foods for events such as banquets.
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies as needed.
  • Plan menus and ensure food meets our quality standards.
  • Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.
  • Train staff in food preparation, cooking, and handling.
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to maintain cleanliness and safety.
  • Work with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards.
