About the Role

Are you passionate about nurturing young minds and fostering a love for learning? Wee Thrive is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Childhood Educator for our Junior Kindergarten program. This is a permanent, full-time position that offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children aged 2 to 5 years.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess children's development to create tailored learning plans.
  • Assist co-workers with housekeeping and cooking duties.
  • Bathe, diaper, and feed infants and toddlers.
  • Develop and implement child-care programs that support physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development.
  • Maintain daycare equipment and ensure a safe learning environment.
  • Engage children through storytelling, songs, and crafts.
  • Guide children in developing proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits.
  • Observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioral issues and prepare reports for parents and supervisors.
  • Collaborate with co-workers and community service providers to enhance children's experiences.
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of other early childhood educators and assistants.

Requirements
