Are you passionate about nurturing young minds and fostering a love for learning? Wee Thrive is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Childhood Educator for our Junior Kindergarten program. This is a permanent, full-time position that offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children aged 2 to 5 years.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess children's development to create tailored learning plans.
- Assist co-workers with housekeeping and cooking duties.
- Bathe, diaper, and feed infants and toddlers.
- Develop and implement child-care programs that support physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development.
- Maintain daycare equipment and ensure a safe learning environment.
- Engage children through storytelling, songs, and crafts.
- Guide children in developing proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits.
- Observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioral issues and prepare reports for parents and supervisors.
- Collaborate with co-workers and community service providers to enhance children's experiences.
- Supervise and coordinate activities of other early childhood educators and assistants.
Requirements
