Job Overview

As a Truck Driver, you will play a crucial role in transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently. This is a permanent position with a work schedule of 40 to 50 hours per week. You will be driving primarily in a two-person team or convoy, ensuring that our cargo reaches its destination on time and in perfect condition.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy.
  • Operate lighter, special purpose trucks.
  • Load and unload goods with care.
  • Obtain special permits and documents for international routes.
  • Inspect and oversee the condition of the vehicle, including tires, lights, brakes, and cold storage.
  • Pay and receive payments for goods transported.
  • Perform brake adjustments and emergency roadside repairs as needed.
  • Conduct pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on vehicles.
  • Communicate effectively with central dispatch.
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Tarp and ensure the safety and security of cargo.

Requirements
