As a Welder-Fitter, you will play a crucial role in our industrial and manufacturing settings, working with steel, iron, and heavy metals to create high-quality structures and products.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret welding process specifications and blueprints.
• Operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment.
• Examine welds to ensure they meet standards and specifications.
• Determine the weldability of materials and perform minor repairs on welding equipment.
• Operate hoisting and lifting equipment as needed.

Work Environment

The work environment is fast-paced and can be noisy, requiring manual dexterity and attention to detail. You will be expected to stand for extended periods and may need to handle weights of up to 23 kg (50 lbs). Overtime may be required.

Qualifications
