Job Overview

As a Carpenter, you will play a crucial role in our projects, working with a variety of materials and techniques to bring our clients' visions to life. This is a permanent position offering 32 to 40 hours of work per week, with a competitive hourly wage of $26.50.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare estimates of labour and material costs.
• Read blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements.
• Prepare layouts in conformance with building codes, using measuring tools.
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.
• Prepare tenders and quotations.
• Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.

• Instruct apprentices and supervise other workers.
• Estimate costs and materials.
