About the Job

As a Fish-Processing Plant Worker, you will play a crucial role in preparing fish and seafood for marketing and further processing. This is a seasonal position that offers flexible hours ranging from 30 to 60 hours per week. You will be trained on the job, so no prior experience is necessary!

Key Responsibilities

  • Cut, clean, and trim fish or seafood prior to marketing or further processing.
  • Scrape away scales, cut fish, separate fillets, and remove scrap parts using a knife.
  • Disjoint and remove meat from lobsters or other crustaceans in preparation for canning or further processing.
  • Set up and operate machines to clean, cut, cook, smoke, brine, dehydrate, or otherwise process fish or seafood products.

Work Environment

Our work site is dynamic and fast-paced, with the following conditions:

  • Noisy
  • Cold/refrigerated
  • Wet/damp

Physical Requirements

This role is physically demanding and requires:
