This is a permanent position offering 35 to 40 hours of work per week, where you will have the opportunity to showcase your craftsmanship across various construction and renovation projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Read blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements.
• Prepare layouts in conformance with building codes, using measuring tools.
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.
• Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
• Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware.
• Instruct apprentices and share your expertise.
• Maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in various settings, including mills, mines, hospitals, and industrial plants.
