About the Role
This is a permanent position requiring 80 hours bi-weekly of your time. As a pharmacist, you will play a crucial role in advising customers on medications, dispensing pharmaceuticals, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety in drug products.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise customers on indications, contraindications, adverse effects, drug interactions, and dosage.
- Dispense prescribed pharmaceuticals to customers or other healthcare professionals.
- Order and maintain stock of pharmaceutical supplies.
- Advise customers on the selection and use of non-prescription medication.
- Check prescriptions for proper dosage.
- Compound prescribed pharmaceutical products by calculating, measuring, and mixing the right quantities of drugs and other ingredients.
- Maintain medication profiles of customers, including a registry of poisons and narcotic and controlled drugs.
- Manage the storage, packaging, and distribution of medicinal products.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of other pharmacists, pharmacy assistants, pharmacy technicians, and other staff.
- Control the quality of drug products during production to ensure they meet standards of potency, purity, uniformity, stability, and safety.
- Evaluate labeling, packaging, and advertising of drug products.
- Lead and instruct individuals in pharmacy practices.

Qualifications
