Are you an experienced helicopter pilot looking for an exciting opportunity in the aviation industry? At Cougar Helicopters Inc., we are seeking a dedicated and skilled Helicopter Pilot to join our dynamic team. This is a permanent position that offers a chance to work in a fast-paced, urban environment while ensuring the safety and efficiency of our flight operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Fly fixed-wing aircraft and helicopters with precision and care.
  • Follow emergency procedures to address equipment malfunctions or failures.
  • Monitor engine and aircraft systems during flight to ensure optimal performance.
  • Record equipment malfunctions and document corrective actions taken during flights.
  • Report necessary repairs to ground maintenance personnel.
  • Conduct in-flight tests and monitor the functioning of aircraft equipment and systems.
  • Perform pre-flight inspections and check passenger and cargo distribution for weight and balance compliance.
  • Communicate with control towers for takeoff clearances and arrival instructions.
  • Maintain communication with flight dispatchers and weather forecasters, responding to in-flight emergencies.
  • Prepare detailed flight evaluation reports.
