About the Role

Are you a dedicated and skilled paramedic looking to make a significant impact in the aerospace industry? Keewatin Air is seeking an enthusiastic Advanced Care Paramedic to join our dynamic team. This permanent position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, providing critical care to those in need.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess the extent of injuries or illnesses of trauma victims to determine appropriate emergency medical treatment.
  • Administer pre-hospital emergency care and advanced emergency treatments to patients.
  • Transport patients to hospitals or other medical facilities for further medical care.
  • Document and record the nature of injuries and treatments provided.
  • Assist hospital personnel with the provision of medical treatment as necessary.

Requirements

  • Duration: Permanent
  • Language: English
  • Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week
  • Education: College/CEGEP in Emergency Medical Technology/Technician (EMT Paramedic)
  • Experience: 3 to 5 years in a similar role
  • Certificates: Advanced Life Support (ALS) Certificate
  • Security Checks: Criminal record check, Child Abuse Registry check, Adult Abuse Registry check, Vulnerable sector check
  • Transportation: Valid driver's license and willingness to travel
