About the Job

As a Carpenter, you will play a crucial role in our construction projects, working in various locations and environments. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare layouts in accordance with building codes using measuring tools.
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.
• Prepare tenders and quotations for projects.
• Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
• Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware.
• Survey building locations and levels to ensure accuracy.
• Instruct apprentices and share your knowledge with the next generation of carpenters.
• Operate CADD and other computer software systems to enhance project efficiency.
• Maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in various establishments, including mills, mines, hospitals, and industrial plants.
