About the Job

As a Family Physician, you will play a crucial role in the health and well-being of our patients. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Collecting medical information from patients, family members, or other medical professionals.
  • Examining patients' health conditions to identify diseases and injuries.
  • Ordering laboratory tests, X-rays, and other diagnostic procedures to determine the most appropriate medical treatment.
  • Consulting with other medical practitioners to evaluate patients' physical and mental health.
  • Prescribing and administering medications and treatments.
  • Inoculating and vaccinating patients to prevent and treat diseases.
  • Advising patients on healthcare and lifestyle choices.
  • Coordinating or managing primary patient care.

Requirements

Education

  • Degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, or optometry.

Experience

  • 2 years to less than 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Permanent position with a commitment of 40 hours per week.
  • Language of work: English.

Certificates, Licences, Memberships, and Courses

  • College of Family Physicians Certification (CCFP).
