About the Role

Regina Eastview Daycare Inc. is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Early Childhood Education Worker to join our vibrant team. This temporary position offers an opportunity to work 30 to 40 hours per week in a dynamic child care environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Bathe, diaper, and feed infants and toddlers.
  • Develop and implement child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Engage children through storytelling, songs, and creative activities.
  • Supervise staff, trainees, or volunteers.
  • Assist early childhood educators in executing programs that foster child development.
  • Order supplies and equipment as needed.
  • Observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioral issues and prepare reports for parents or supervisors.
  • Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with co-workers and community service providers.
  • Plan and organize activities for school-age children in child-care programs before and after regular school hours.

Qualifications

    • Child Development Worker (ECE Level 2)
    • Child Development Supervisor (ECE Level 3)
    • Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate
    • First Aid Certificate
    • CPR Certificate
  • Experience with special needs children is an asset.
