• Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport various goods and materials.
• Oversee the condition of the vehicle, performing inspections on tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other essential equipment.
• Handle payments for goods, ensuring accurate transactions.
• Conduct pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, overseeing all aspects of the vehicle's performance.
• Perform preventive maintenance to keep our fleet in top condition.
• Receive and relay information to central dispatch, maintaining clear communication.
• Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption accurately.
• Tarp and secure cargo to ensure safety during transport.
