Are you a skilled mechanic with a passion for keeping vehicles in top shape? At KEEP THEM ROLLING S&S, we are looking for a dedicated Truck and Transport Mechanic to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining commercial transport truck systems, ensuring that our fleet remains operational and efficient.
Key Responsibilities
- Adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems.
- Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions.
- Discuss work with supervisors and confirm findings to determine whether to repair or replace units.
- Road test motor vehicles and review work orders.
- Coach and instruct apprentices in best practices.
- Perform scheduled maintenance service and advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements.
- Estimate parts and labour costs for vehicle maintenance and repairs.
- Welding experience is a plus!
