Your Role & Responsibilities
As a Gravel Truck Driver, you will play a crucial role in our operations. Your responsibilities will include:
- Loading and unloading goods safely.
- Overseeing the condition of your vehicle and performing inspections on tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
- Performing emergency roadside repairs as needed.
- Conducting pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, ensuring all aspects of the vehicle are in top condition.
- Carrying out preventive maintenance to keep our fleet running smoothly.
- Tarping and ensuring the safety and security of cargo.
What We’re Looking For
To thrive in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of relevant experience.
- Licensing:
- Air Brakes Endorsement.
- Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi-trailer trucks).
- Class 3/3F/DF Licence (trailer truck, vehicles with more than 3 axles).
Work Environment
Your work environment will be:
- Dusty, as you’ll be transporting gravel and other dry bulk materials.
