About the Job
As a Concrete Former Helper, you'll play a vital role in our construction projects. Your responsibilities will include:
- Loading, unloading, and transporting construction materials
- Erecting and dismantling concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades
- Mixing, pouring, and spreading materials such as concrete and asphalt
- Leveling earth to fine grade specifications
- Cleansing and piling salvaged materials
- Cleaning up chemical spills and other contaminants
- Tending to machines or equipment used in construction
- Assisting tradespersons, apprentices, and other workers as directed
