Key Responsibilities

• Install sprinkler heads and mount prepared pipe in supports.
• Select, measure, cut, ream, and thread pipe with precision.
• Utilize hand and power tools to install clamps, brackets, and hangers that support the piping system and fire protection equipment.
• Install valves, alarms, and associated equipment to enhance system performance.
• Join pipes and piping sections using soldering and welding techniques.
• Conduct leak tests on systems using air or liquid pressure equipment.
• Cut openings for pipes in walls, floors, and ceilings using appropriate tools and machinery.
• Install supports, valves, piping, and control systems as required.
• Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to ensure accuracy in installation.

Requirements

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
