• Prepare tenders and quotations for projects.
• Instruct and mentor apprentices, sharing your knowledge and skills.
• Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes, and fixtures in walls and floors.
• Cut openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipes and fittings.
• Join pipes using various methods, including couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, soldering, brazing, and welding equipment.
• Schedule personnel, tools, and equipment efficiently to meet project timelines.
• Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges.
• Determine piping system requirements and pipe sizing.
• Supervise other workers and ensure project standards are met.
• Estimate costs and materials for projects.
• Operate CADD and other computer software systems effectively.
