About the Role
This is a seasonal position offering 30 to 67 hours per week. As a Land Surveyor, you will play a critical role in developing survey plans, supervising field crews, and ensuring accurate measurements for legal boundary establishment. Your expertise will assist in the planning and execution of subdivisions for both rural and urban development.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop survey plans, methods, and procedures for conducting legal surveys.
- Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements.
- Supervise other land surveyors and/or field crews.
- Plan, direct, and conduct surveys to establish legal boundaries of properties.
- Record all measurements and other information obtained during survey activities.
- Analyze, manage, and display data using geographic information systems and computer-aided design.
- Survey and lay out subdivisions for rural and urban development.
Work Environment
As a Land Surveyor at Wilco Contractors, you will work in various environments, often outdoors with exposure to:

Qualifications

- Transportation: Valid driver's license and willingness to travel.
