What You’ll Do

As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will:

• Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy, ensuring a collaborative and safe journey.
• Load and unload goods with care, maintaining the highest standards of safety and efficiency.
• Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials across long distances.
• Oversee the condition of the vehicle and perform inspections on tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other essential equipment.
• Manage payment transactions for goods, ensuring accuracy and accountability.
• Perform brake adjustments and conduct pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, overseeing all aspects of the vehicle.
• Carry out preventive maintenance to keep our fleet in top shape.
• Receive and relay information to central dispatch, maintaining clear communication throughout your journey.

What You Need

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Experience: Previous experience is an asset, although not mandatory.

Essential Certifications

• Air Brakes Endorsement
