About the Role

As a Short Haul Truck Driver, you will play a critical role in loading and unloading goods, transporting materials, and ensuring the safety and security of cargo. Your responsibilities will include:

• Loading and unloading goods with care
• Operating straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
• Conducting pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections
• Overseeing the condition of the vehicle and performing emergency roadside repairs when necessary
• Recording essential information such as cargo details, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption
• Tarping and ensuring the safety and security of cargo
• Performing preventive maintenance on the vehicle

What We’re Looking For

Education:

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Certificates, Licences, Memberships, and Courses:

• Air Brakes Endorsement
• Driver's License (Class 1 or A)

Experience:

• Will train

Documentation Knowledge:
