• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine plumbing system layouts.
• Instruct and mentor apprentices in plumbing techniques.
• Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes, and fixtures in walls and floors.
• Cut openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipes and fittings.
• Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, or welding methods.
• Schedule personnel, tools, and equipment for efficient job execution.
• Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges.
• Determine piping system requirements and size accordingly.
• Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to the required shape and size.

Work Environment

• Work in confined spaces and wet/damp conditions.
• Travel to various job sites as part of your daily responsibilities.

Qualifications
